CARV Tokenomics

$CARV is the native utility token of the CARV ecosystem, with a total supply of 1 billion tokens, which will be linearly released over four years. The allocation of the total supply of $CARV is as follows: 50% for nodes & community, 9% for ecosystem & treasury, 9.246% for early investors, 8.295% for private fundraising, 19.459% for founding team & advisors, and 4% for liquidity.

$CARV has multiple utility functions. Specifically, it can be used for: (1) Gas payments for multi-chain transactions, gaming asset purchases, and more. (2) Participation in the governance of the CARV ecosystem. (3) Empowering players and individuals with ownership of their data, while controlling access for games or projects to the player base and database. (4) Providing incentives for data owners, providers, and consumers of the CARV protocol. To participate in protocol governance, CARV token holders need to convert their CARV tokens to veCARV at a 1:1 ratio through staking. veCARV can also be used to incentivize node operators who secure and support the network. However, it is worth mentioning that veCARV can be redeemed for $CARV at varying rates and waiting periods. After the redemption process of veCARV, the remaining (if any) veCARV will be converted to CARV and enter the CARV treasury.
